About Brian: I’m a Senior Virtualization Engineer and Architect working for HP. I’ve worked in the IT Industry since 1991, and worked for several companies. I use this blog to document tips and problems I encounter during my work and stuff I read about. I’m a VMware Certified Professional (VCP VI3.5) MCSE on Windows NT – 2000, Cisco CCNA/CCDA. I am currently working on upgrading my VCP to vSphere and will be pursuing my VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) next. My main interest is consolidation and virtualization of Servers and desktops.
I am currently working on XenDesktop VDI and VMware Lab Manger projects. These projects have both captured my interest and I am spending a lot of time learning these technologies. You can contact me at jordan57 [at] gmail.com with any questions or advertising requests.
About Mike: I have been working in IT since I graduated high school in ‘99. My love of Linux led me to VMware early on and I’ve been hungry for knowledge ever since. I am currently a Sys Admin with a storage focus (HP EVAs) with my pursuit of my Vsphere VCP culminating the week of March 22nd. I’ve got the class all squared away and the test should be the week after. Not to copy Brian, but I also would love to pursue my VCDX. I realize I need to get access to many additional technologies to help round out my knowledge base. I’ve got (and will talk about) the kinds of projects I am doing for myself in my lab, and I’m hoping to continually pull in new hardware and ideas to help others with their labs at home or whatnot. I can be reached at reverseninja [at] gmail.com should I mumble something of interest.
